Nate Knows … Why Pamela Anderson was banned in Canada. The Canadian born beauty shot a brand new campaign with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and wanted to have a public unveiling of the ad in Montreal. Unfortunately for her and all those animals, the ad was banned by Canadian officials claiming the image was “sexist” and the permit for the event was denied.

Seriously Canada?! I think the ad looks great and the idea behind it is really smart. This is tame considering the constant bombardment of sex that’s forced down our throats every single day. This isn’t an advertisement for men’s deodorant or beer. It’s for the prevention of animal abuse! I think PETA has the last laugh in this situation. The ad has gotten more exposure with all the controversy than it would have without. Sex sells so why not use it to sell a wonderful cause? Team PETA! Team Pam!

Could Gay Rights Groups Be Deemed Terrorist Organizations?

Last week, Fisheries and Oceans Minister Gail Shea was in Burlington, Ontario giving a speech at the Canadian Centre for Inland Waters when she was smacked in the face with a soybean curd pie. The confection-hurler was one Emily McCoy of New York City who is a member of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). McCoy made Shea eat her pie because she is opposed to the Canadian seal hunt. McCoy was charged with assault. Read the full story
