AND FINALLY …

Words of wisdom:

A combination of things keep us from saying exactly what we are thinking at all times. Sometimes we say things in our heads and our internal filter throws them into the “ill-advised” pile. Other times, we are afraid of the social, political, or financial consequences. I wish to one day reach a point of such poverty or wealth that nothing I say can really affect my way of life too drastically. I will take out billboards along major highways and above the busiest intersections saying things like “(Insert name here) is a total douche bag” or “The Jonas Brothers are an elaborate plot to sexualize our society’s pre-teens”.  I will have a settlement fund set aside strictly for settling libel disputes. I will, however, publicly offer the plaintiff an alternative through a different series of billboards/Superbowl ad space…I will pay the settlement amount to their favourite charity instead of them personally. They will be endlessly frustrated and cornered in a no-win situation, while myself and a lucky charity will stay bi-winning. The above is a long intro into why I think we all secretly admire Charlie Sheen’s proclivity for what seem like the insane ramblings of a mad man. His honesty and fearlessness (however chemically or psychotically induced) appeal to all of our inner vengeful-media-buyers. For this reason, and a few others, I  spent a weekend with a few friends (Matthew Pigott, Leigh Evenson, and artist Odette Beja) creating SheenPrints.  Please check it out, buy a shirt, and bring me one step closer to publicly antagonizing the deserving, while donating great sums to charity.

#winning.

I have a dream…

Thing won’t happen if you don’t take action. What kind of example would I be if I did not take the time to do my own Dream List after previously challenging YOU? How are your lists of dreams coming along? I have heard many people taking charge and making a commitment to writing their list. Feel free to leave yours in the comments below.
