Act a little less and think a little more. Just spend at least 10 or 15 minutes — in a day where you are working 8-10-16 hours of physical action in order to maintain the physical stuff that you’ve gathered around you — trying to find pleasure from some vision. Afford yourself that. And that 10 or 15 minutes that you are finding pleasure, will cause a focalization of Energy within you that the Universe will actualize around. You will begin to notice that you are more productive, because of 15 minutes of visualization, than you were from 16 hours of hard labor.

There are two things that I think are paramount when trying to achieve all that it is that you want. First you have to know what it is that you want and second, you must be able to visualize it. You have to see it.
I have been going to a 45 minute silent meditation class with my dear friend at a local yoga studio here in the city. We love it because it presents us an opportunity to meditate and clear our thoughts for a prolonged amount of time. Longer than what we would spend in our own homes by ourselves.
It was at one of my first classes that I understood how meditation practice could be the superfriend to visualisation.
In my meditation my mind seemed so busy. My goal was to clear my mind but thoughts kept flooding in. Before the class began my friend instructed me to just label the thought or the feeling and let it go.
That’s just fear – Let it go.
That’s just desire – Let it go.
In doing this my mind would once again quiet itself and I could focus on breath and freedom. Then after the class with a clear mind I am able to begin to daydream and visualise with joy and the utmost creativity. To think and draw pictures in my head of all the things I’d love to do in that day, or the future. Places I’d love to go. Creative concepts to project. People to see and still yet to meet. Vision.
It is of supreme value to be moving forward and creating, free of any negative thought and image… and the meditation serves as your own personal mind – body maid. The body is needed to get inside and to the breath of your source. Not as two but one. To experience the infinite. It can be intuited.
Later in the day I was walking through the city streets until I had reached my destination. When there I locked eyes with a person I used to know and never planned to see again. Instantly rocked; temperature rising, I used the same technique to free myself. Laying eyes on him frightened me.
That’s just fear – Let it go.
And I did.
This is a perfect situation in which meditation can empower you. Where even though you are constrained, you can get free. Turn your troubled mind back into your ashram. Find your self posession.
